Panoramic View from East to South of Mapping Mission Supply, Hanger and Flight Line. It's an optical illusion because the middle section missing.  Joe Pike's wife Carolyn says that the missing space (between the Cessna and U-8) is where the Russian helicopter was parked. I had forgotten about that big Russian helicopter--Bill Phillipson told me a very good story about it.

This gooneybird  was a Navy R4D taken from the airplane boneyard in Arizona and rebuilt at the airport in Addison, Texas. Upon completion she was flown by Jack Miller and Lee Rodawalt from Addison to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Upon completion of mapping operations in Ethiopia, this airplane was flown to Tehran, Iran where it was used by Topo Training Team.
