Don Molinelli and Bob Ross  In reply to a letter I wrote to Don Molinelli thanking him for the many photos that he and Bob Ross have supplied to the Web site (many of which serve as the personal photos of some of the members listed on the Web site) Don answers: "...thanks to the ingenious idea S-3's OIC Mr Huffine came up with....to have Ross become the unit photographer, for morale purposes, and take lots of pictures.  He even gave him a camera supplied by the Army to take those pictures, even though Ross had his own.  And most of those photos ended up on those two "Rogues Boards" with funny captions under them in the Mess Hall on either side of the (never used) fireplace.  We got the film from some photo place downtown, also had them developed there.  Think we started out getting them developed by someone at the MM (Lucas seems to ring a bell) as there originally was a darkroom on the top floor of HQ, across from S-3.  But after awhile they shut it down for some reason, so we went to a photo shop in Addis.
Ross and I often say even though we got so many pictures, we wish we had the foresite to take even more, so we'd have photos of more of the guys.  But we did get quite a few.
