MAPPING MISSION FLIGHT SURGEONS OFFICE AND DISPENSARY
Mr. Michon contacted me expressing his desire to find the owner of the knife in this photograph so that he could return it to him. After some years of searching he found Sgt. Mataragas' daughter, Sister Zelie Marie Mataragas, who directed him to the intended heirs of this blade.
I commend Mr. Michon for his gracious act and thank Sister Zelie Marie for her help in this matter. I count myself fortunate to have encountered people of this caliber.
